MARKET RESEARCH

Atlantic is a member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), which is the national trade association for commercial research companies. As a condition of CASRO membership, Atlantic subscribes to the Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research. This code describes Atlantic’s responsibilities to respondents, clients, and interviewers, and in reporting to clients and the public.

Atlantic also holds memberships in the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Marketing Research Association (MRA).

INSURANCE

Atlantic is a member of the Society for Insurance Research and regularly attends SIR workshops and conferences.

INVESTMENTS AND BANKING

Atlantic is a member of the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA), and an associate member of the Investment Company Institute (ICI).

HEALTHCARE

Atlantic Research and Consulting, Inc. has been accepted into the survey vendor certification program for year 2000 HEDIS survey administration. Renee Pezzi, Chief Operating Office and Vice President of Sales and Conor Hughes, Vice President of Data Collection, attended vendor training in Washington D.C. on October 28 and 29, 1999.

HEDIS survey data for health plans must be collected by NCQA-certified vendors. These will be the only survey results NCQA will accept for health plans seeking accreditation and for plans reporting survey results to NCQA for inclusion in NCQA's national database of HEDIS results in Quality Compass.

NCQA certification is a good measuring stick for evaluating vendors for any type of health industry survey projects. NCQA certification is important because it assures clients of a commitment to the highest survey research standards.
